| WHAT MAMA SAYS: |
"I have said it before and I will say it again. I do not scrapbook.
I think as the daughter and granddaughter of people who like to save
everything (we won't call them hoarders exactly as that would be
rude) I have a sub-conscious aversion to becoming a historian. My
husband and I have a no clutter policy that was written into our
wedding vows, and I can never imagine finding the time or space to
scrapbook, record, crop photos, and everything that goes with making
those lovely little baby books. It is sad for the kids but I am not
fooling anybody.
If you are like me just admit it, get over the feeling of inadequacy
because you don't attend the local scrapping saloon and buy yourself
some Tiny Tales. This way when you get the urge and baby does
something cute you can simply jot it down, put it back it its
rightful box and be done with it. Care to add a photo? A lock of
hair? A ticket stub from their first dance recital? Just place it in
the neat little box, organize by age and pat yourself on the back!
You are a great mom even if you don't know what "crop" means. Heck I
had to ask."
