Juno Baby

I am going to be really honest here, I was getting pretty sick of all of these new companies trying to be the next Baby Einstein. It is just not going to happen more than once people, you are not going to come up with something just like it and then have it purchased by Disney for a bajillion dollars, that is a once in a lifetime thing.

Ruby and I have tested DVD after DVD of "wannabes" and we came to the same consensus that while Baby Einstein and most other children's DVD's are great the first time we pop it into the player, they just don't cut the mustard and hold our attention. I don't blame her, she is already a music snob, avid drummer and toy piano banger. I should have known this would happen when at  six months she was banging her head in the car to Janes Addiction. When I saw Juno Baby I knew it would be different.

I don't even know where to begin actually. I have never witnessed Ruby grasp on to songs and melodies faster. We watched the DVD "Indies Great Teddy Bear Hunt" and then that night switched out her Madonna CD in her room for the Juno Baby CD, and having only seen the video once, she knew the melodies and words in all of the songs.

Songs like " MY ECHO" and "BROCCOLI" are masterpieces which doesn't surprise me since Juno Baby was started by award winning composer Belinda Takahashi, Ph.D, and her husband Adam Adelman, who lends his voice to some of the unique characters in Juno Baby with uncanny ability.

In addition to 3 DVD's, a CD containing 23 songs, and a plush doll of the main character Juno, there is an adorable t-shirt line with the softest long sleeve and short sleeve tees for boys and girls. There is so much to say about this company but I will let you explore their amazing website on your own. Be sure to checkout the MP3's of their collection to get a preview! Join the Juno Baby club and be notified of new products as well as receive a Happy Birthday e-Greeting from Juno Baby for your child.

So back to being honest here, I can tell you that this is the best collection of music, art, characters that I have seen in a long time. The worst thing that can happen to your family after purchasing this collection is that you will have great songs stuck in your head with lyrics such as "can't see how logically I would like Broccoli". Also if you send your child to bed with the Juno Baby CD playing, don't be surprised if they stay up a bit later than usually and belt out the tunes. Sooner or later they will go to sleep.

Daily Stroll readers receive 10% off of their purchase at Juno Baby. Use code: W1544 at checkout. Offer expires 10.31.06
