MATERNITY MONDAY SERIES- WEEK 34

DESIGNER:  Belly Vita
THE GOODS:
Belly Sculpting Kit & Spa Treatment

WHAT MAMA SAYS: "When I was pregnant with Ruby I always had the urge to do a belly imprint but just three short years ago you had to commission an artist, or figure out how to do it yourself.

I could not afford to have an artist do it and didn't have the confidence to attempt it on my own so I never captured my belly with Ruby like I should have.

This time around with baby "e" I was lucky enough to try BellyVita. I found it to be easy and fun, and it is a less expensive alternative to finding a local artist.

At 33 weeks we settled into many old sheets and towels in my living room and my husband, Ruby, and I made an imprint of my belly in just about an hours time. First we used the lovely nourishing belly oil and then proceeded with making the mould. I was able to rest for an entire hour with my feet up which is rare!

If you follow the directions and have patience you too can capture your belly! BellyVita keeps it simple by providing a white paint to coat the belly cast after it has completely formed and dried, but they encourage you to embellish the cast anyway that you like. My husband is going to paint mine to match our nursery theme and then we will hang it on the wall!"
